Lets go over all 4


Cut:

The shape of the diamond.

How the facets in the diamond interact with light to cause sparkle.

Each cut represents a different style and shows personality.

Clarity:

Clarity is a grade based on the types of blemishes or inclusions a diamond may have.

These inclusions can compromise the sparkle in a diamond.

Blemishes are on the outside of the diamond.

Inclusions are within the diamond.

Some types of inclusions are clouds, feathers, and pepper.

Color:

Diamonds are graded on color based on the yellow hue of the stone, if there is any.

The color grades are based from G through Z.

D-F: Colorless

G-J: Near Colorless

K-M: Faint Yellow

N-R: Very Light Yellow

S-Z: Light Yellow

Carat:

This is the measurement on how much a diamond weighs.

Remember a diamonds value is not only based on how much the stone weighs, its based on all of the
4 Cs of the diamond.
