This week during Tuesday we not only did our weekly water testing, but also
dissected a shark. Luckily we didnt have to do a water change. We definitely are
still keeping an eye on our nitrate, which is a little too high, and hopefully we can
get our pH down little, but its still good. We are also still keeping an eye on our
algae, but it still hasnt grown back. On Monday 4/4/16 we added in new fishes with
our zebra danios. We got 3 blue gills in our tank now and we also added in a green
plant decoration. We have blue gills now, because our teacher was noticing that the
blue gills and the catfishes werent getting along, so she decided to put them in our
tank that way they would be safe. Next week is block scheduling for our school, so
our required lab day is going to be on Wednesday instead. For now we hope to keep
our new and old fishes safe and healthy.
