to do a
water
change.

This week we had blocked scheduling, so the required day was on Wednesday
instead of Tuesday, it will be like this now for a while. When we were looking at our
tank we notice that again algae had grown on the dragon and on the glass, but
there was also a rusty looking color on the dragon and glass. We are not sure what
it is, but for now its gone, because we did a water change and clean the dragon
and glass. As usual we pumped out the dirty water and added in new fresh water
and also added in two caps (10 mm each) of anomia quill. We used soap, water, and
a sponge to clean off the algae and the rusty color substance on the dragon. We
then used a magnetic device that you put on the glass and it will clean up the algae
on the glass. Hopefully we can keep the algae and the rusty color substance off the
glass and the dragon, so our fishes will live in a healthy environment. For now we
will keep an eye on if the algae and the rusty color substance will grow back, so we
can clean it up for our fishes health. We do have sad news; unfortunately all our
zebra danios were killed by the new blue gill fish that were put in our tank. The blue
gills killed on April, 6, 2016. The two big zebra danios heads were ripped off and the
one small was eaten whole. This was a tragic accident, but we learn our mistake
and we are not planning on adding any new fish.
