For the Multi Modal semester long project I am going to try to focus on
the biggest man made lake in North Carolina, Lake Norman. It is very
interesting in the way that it was made. A town was drowned after it was
evacuated to make this lake and now there is said to be houses and other
interesting artifacts under the lake. I am excited to focus on this particular
place because I have lived there since I was 7 and never really looked into it.
I had never heard much about it until I was older. I still have to find partners
to work on this project with. Another idea I had to do was Statesville, NC
because there are a lot of historic things in Statesville from wars and such.
Statesville is small and is usually not normally a topic of interest, but people
overlook a lot of history that happened in Statesville. There has been a lot of
changes in Statesville and a lot of people have been affected by the history
of what happened there.
