To Whom It May Concern: I am extremely delighted to write a letter of recommendation for Danielle Tolton who is applying for a teaching position at your school. I was Danielles methods instructor for reading (TTE 322) and language arts (TTE 323) during the spring and fall semester of 2015. In addition, I served as the site coordinator for her cohort and had the opportunity to observe her almost weekly during her classroom field experience, which totaled 360 hours. Danielles field experience included teaching in the primary and intermediate grades in all subject areas. Danielle is very talented and wonderfully situated to be an outstanding teacher. She engages her students in a variety of settings including one-to-one instruction as well as small group and whole class instruction. She is very adept at lesson planning and design, and she has a keen sense of how to grab and maintain students interest with lessons that are relevant, creative, and interactive. Furthermore, Danielle is always looking for new ways to expand her knowledge about the teaching profession. I am convinced that Danielle will be a wonderful asset to your teaching staff. She is professional and very personable. It is her nature to go the extra yard, providing support and encouragement to peers as well as students. She is a team player who is excited about collaborating with other teachers and being a part of a teaching/learning community. I strongly recommend Ms. Danielle Tolton without reservations. Please feel free to contact me should you have questions. I can be reached at ddimmett@email.arizona.edu and 520-237-2709. Sincerely, Deborah Arizonas First University Since 1885
