BIOLOGY
WILD DIET~Their favorite fruits are huge spiky fruits called Durian, also
honey,flowers,bark,leaves,and insects.
LIFE SPAN~45-58 years
ADAPTATION~Their arms allow them to hang on branches and support
themselves.
STATUS~Endangered
GENDER DIFFERENCES~Females spend 45% of their time alone;Males spend
91% of their time alone.Males are bigger than Females.

BEHAVIOR
SOCIAL BEHAVIORS~They are primarily solitary.

INTERESTING FACTS~
They are gentle and they sit for hours looking around.
Orang means person and utan means forest. All together it means person
of the forest.
When males fight, they charge each other and bite each others heads and
cheekpads.
Males cheekpads grow for most of their life.
