    Boom go the big bombs


    Citizens flee underground
    Families are scared

    Haiku 1

    Youngsters sent away


    Youngsters must work do not play
    Families broken

    Haiku 2

    Traditional war
    Modern warfare will prevail
    This they must accept

    Haiku 3

    Resources are scarce


    Warriors get the first pick
    Children are still starved

    Haiku 4

    Parents feel guilty


    But one thing for them to do
    Pray for end of war
