To Whom It May Concern,
I have known Taylor Gear for three years, and in that time, she has demonstrated herself to be a hard worker
and critical thinker. She is invariably engaged in learning and completes all tasks assigned to her. Although
she appears to just be quiet and unassuming in class, Ms. Gear is constantly observing and considering all
comments being made and assessing them for validity. Despite her propensity for introversion, on the
‘eccasions that she feels strongly about a topic or has a critical observation that the rest of the class has
missed, she readily volunteers her thoughts and opinions. She is meticulous in her work and typically turns in
an excellent product because she has added tiny details and edited for mistakes and to otherwise improve it.
Ms. Gear has been involved in the Health Careers Academy at El Dorado High School for four years. As an
Academy student, she has been challenged to learn and use medical terminology and skills as well as
encouraged to participate in community service. Throughout, she has maintained a 3.5 GPA, positive
attendance, and honor roll status. Her academic efforts have paid off as she applied to and was accepted to
California State University-Sacramento, where she plans to study business administration, for the fall term.
Ms. Gear's attention to detail, determination to finish what she starts, and keen observation skills are all
characteristics that will help her to succeed, not only in college but also in her chosen field of business
administration, whether she decides to focus on the accounting side or human resources.
Sincerely,
Kristine Harrison
