Returning Life
In first place, I have to repeat that I become fascinated with the movie and the lesson that
it tried to impart. Bennet Omalu is a persistent doctor who fought until the end with a clear
vision: save and make justice for others health and live. His intelligence, and his own savings
were key to important a discovery that changed in certain manner the history of Football.
At the end, the true persist over the capitalism and the interest of the NFL to hide the discovery.
Bennet receive and important offer to work as the states pathologist, but he humbly rejects the
offer and continue his work on another state.
On my fanfic, Bennet go back to Nigeria with his family to guarantee their safety. Omalu
also founded a hospital and a research center to help Nigerian people who truly need medical
assistant and did not have enough money to pay for a respectful service. In addition, he build a
research center in which many physicians and scientist of the world have a space to work on
their projects and researches. I decided to change the final of the canon of the movie
Concussion in a way that everyone get benefited. In my opinion, is not fair the manner that
society (NFL) treat Bennet maintaining their interest on the entertainment industry.
Omalu said that He was accused of being a criminal and make fraud. in an interview
for the website Orange Star-media. Bennet have several degrees and made various researches
and investigations to prove to the world that this disease actually exists. Inclusively, the real Dr.

Omalu has a foundation that was designed to instruct and gave a space to people who is
interested in the Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy disease. For these reasons, I think that
Nigeria needs Omalus intelligence, generosity and nobility more than any place on the United
States. NFL associates even make laughs of him insinuating that he was a kind of voodoo
doctor. No human on earth deserve to be discriminated for his homeland, race or the color of
the skin.
I honestly think the personality of Bennet is fully in line with the end that I designed
because his desire to help others was huge. What better people to help that those who life in your
own country? Bennet is a man worthy of admiration and I would like to meet him in order to
understand his passion about pathology and his interest in the human brain. I felt identified with
him because I want to study medicine, and his story of battle with society touched me very deep.
As Bennet said, "The truth will always prevail because lights up and makes you free".
