I.

Topic: Factorial Notation

Materials: cartolina, colored papers,
bond papers, marker
Reference: Math Time Grade 10
Objectives
At the end of the learning period,
100% of the students with at least
75% proficiency shall be able to
1. Evaluate the value of a number in
factorial notation and
2. Perform operation involving
factorial notations

Examples:
1. 10! = 10987654321
= 3,628,800

Factorial Notation
For any natural number n,
n! = n(n-1)(n-2)(n-3)(3)(2)(1)
For the number 0,
0! = 1

The class shall be divided into 5

groups. Each group has a chance to
choose what item will be solved with the
corresponding points. For questions
worth 5 points, 30 seconds will be
allotted for answering. For items worth
10 points, 15 points, and 20 points, 60
seconds will be given. They have to give
their answers on a piece of paper with
their solution and groups that will answer
correctly will gain points. After answering
