Open the navigator to see the NE IP of the new installed MUX. 2. Configure the IP to your computer according to MUX IP, like, if MUX IP is 129.9.0.20:1400 then put maximum range of IP address of the corresponding IP class: 129.9.0.254 3. Open the navigator again then click connect 4. The click OK to a log in to NE menu. 5. To see the navigator IP- :cm-get-ip then put enter. 6. To set IP on the new MUX- :cm-set-ip:129.9.0.20; the press enter. 7. To set the subnet mask- :cm-set-submask: 255.255.0.0; 8. To see the subnet mask- :cm-get-submask 9. To set the NE ID- :cm-set-neid:0x030014; (converted hex value of planned MUX ID & extended ID) 10.To see NE boards- :cfg-get-board
Access software: Optix iManager T2000
1. Open T2000 server . User: Admin and Password: T2000 2. Open T2000 client . User: Admin and Password: T2000 3. Search NE from file of T2000 client and start to search then after getting the required NE click stop. 4. Then click write bottom to desired MUX to create. User Name: root & Password: password A logo will create accordance with the MUX name. 5. To configure card click write bottom card configuration, then either manually card can configured or click Physical Query. To view any installed MUX & Cross connection: 6. Click to Upload then OK 7. Cross connection, SLID is line card for inter MUX cross connection and PLID is to cross connection for STM to ADM at E1 level.
