BANNER: We now have three big banners to put up


when we have a busy rally on or event. It says STOP,
Cyclist must dismount and no through traffic. They will
be stored in the club house.

MARCH Sunday 20th March - Trail Ride: Meet at


the very end of Harris Lane in the Buckland Valley ready
to ride out at 9am. Bring water, and lunch. Depending
on the riders and their horses we will either eat on the
trail or ride down to the Mt. Buffalo Gatehouse and
eat there. The trail is hilly, but I would not call it steep.
Apparently it has been recently graded. A reminder will
be posted a couple of days prior on Facebook.

TTT HORSE TRAILS 14th & 15th May 2016 Oxley


Alpine has entered 2 teams GOOD LUCK!!!! - however;
if your interested - please let joy or annette know asap
- people can enter as individuals who will be combined
into composite teams. This will be one of the closest
TTT events we have! make sure your grading cards and
memberships are up-to-date - and double check rules
relating to gear, uniform and rules for each phase.

APRIL Sunday 10th April - Bought fwd due to Anzac


weekend: We are hosting Instructor Tracy Savage for
jumping/gridwork & level assessing. Please book with
Joy by April 5th and pay money into the AARCs bank
a/c - $35 shared / $65 private, $15 for assessment
or $10 if you have it during your lesson, please book
asap. Payment must be made into the bank account in
advance and no refunds as we secure Tracey based on
booking numbers.

TTT Nav Ride will be held at Elmore this year hosted


by Echuca Adult Riding Club 16th November 2016.
The weekend after our AEE. Jennie G and Sabine are
entering. Anyone else interested yell out.

MAY TBC - Peg Twitchett to give us some pointers


for the Le Trec competition in June. Peg has offered to
come over, but dates are not confirmed as yet.

Membership renewal is still open

JUNE 26th Le Trec: Run on our normal rally day but


will be a Le Trec competition. It was very popular last
year. Jennie G needs some helpers with this - please
let her know if you can help so helping times an be
scheduled around riding - reduced competitor fees for
volunteers.

ROUND YARD Plans are underway to investigate the


purchase and installation of a round yard. Marg Trnka is
chasing this up. Any connections, info and advice please
contact Marg at marg@trnka.com.au

ALPINE EQUINE EXTRAVAGANZA 7-9TH OCTOBER Dates for that are locked in for
the AEE are from 7-9th October. If members could please keep these dates free to assist over this time. All
proceeds will be going towards our proposed new storage shed. It will be a busy and fun weekend, talking and
doing all things horsey. We are still open to trade stall opperators and other relevent people - so if you know
anyone who would like to be involved - please let Jennie Gilliver know.
Jennie G will be after willing helpers able to commit to taking on various roles. She will be sending out a separate
email about the progress and seeking offers of support. There will be lots of emails happening. Please respond,
share the word about the event and make it amazing.
We are looking for connections for the donation of products for show bags that we can give out to rider entrants
- There would be approx 120 show-bags to make up. Things like pens to vouchers to something for the horse or
rider, or perhaps a bar of nice soap. Anyone with any connections can you please chase it up and let Jennie G
know. Do any of our members have any skills they can offer for the raffle??
