Discussion#2
Discuss which dimensions seem to be the most important in your life right now. How will this change 5-10
years from now for you? How does psychosocial health play a major role in your personal relationships
(family, friends, boy/girlfriends)?

After reading Wellness and the Dimensions of Health. The dimension I believe to be the most important in
my life right now is Social Health. I choose social health, because I have always been an extremely social
person. I enjoy having friends and family and have always been lucky enough to be surrounded by
friends and family. I feel I am not a shy person and I have the ability to make friends fairly easy and can
interact among all circles of life with ease.
However, all of my social life ended once I became a mom. My social circle slowly grew smaller and
smaller. I eat, breathe and live for my children, which I do not regret.
In 5-10 years I believe and can only hope that this situation only be temporary and that my kids will be
more independent and will not need me as much. It has been 5 years and two kids later and I am still
waiting for that opportunity to happen.
I never imagined in 100 years that my most greatest blessing of Becoming a Mother would also be so
lonely and isolated.
