Subject: Alternative sites
Mr. Streit-
My apologies for the delay in getting back to you after our meeting Monday night. | did not have a business card
and promised you that | would shoot you my contact information, however that may have been lost in the shuffle
of activity that has transpired since the meeting.
| believe that the crux of your discussion was to identify alternative sites in Oak Lawn, however we are not
interested in pursuing that. We did an exhaustive search beginning in April of 2015 to identify sites in and around
the Oak Lawn area specifically for our use. We have a 34 point “Site Selection Criteria” that we use to identify
sites appropriate for an Anthem Memory Care community. Even in cases where the 34 points are addressed
positively, we still may determine a site is not feasible that can be the result of financial constraints, soil
conditions, topography, etc. Trying to replay the reasons past sites did not work would be exhaustive and
unproductive. In addition, | am certain that if the site that is currently being proposed does not work, Anthem
will not under any circumstances pursue an alternative site in Oak Lawn.
We are currently working to arrange a neighborhood meeting in April to address the factual concerns of the
neighbors to establish a baseline of understanding. That meeting is still TBD, however a date and time will be
released soon. | hope you can join us.
Have a great Easter weekend.
Isaac
