FUN FACTS ABOUT

BREATHING
SENSORS
Presented by Tevin Brown

What are sensors

DID YOU KNOW

Sensors are sophisticated devices that are

frequently used to detect and respond to
electrical or optical signals. A Sensor
converts the physical parameter (for
example: temperature, blood pressure,
humidity, speed, etc.) into a signal which can
be measured electrically. Lets explain the
example of temperature. The mercury in the
glass thermometer expands and contracts the
liquid to convert the measured temperature
which can be read by a viewer on the
calibrated glass tube.

Here are 10 fun

facts about
breathing sensors.

FUN FACT #1
Did you know?
Breathing sensors are capable of
monitoringhuman presence, respiration and
other vital information

FUN FACT #2
Did you know?
Breathing sensors uses radio waves rather than
infrared, ultrasound or light

FUN FACT #3
Did you know?
Breathing sensors are typically designed for
only one task, such as detecting presence,
motion, speed or distance

FUN FACT #4
Did you know?
Breathing sensors designed for respiration
monitoring of people of all ages for health and
well-being purposes, especially for sleep
improvement systems and spotting night
timeabnormalities

FUN FACT #5
Did you know?
Breathing sensors can detect breathing pattern
if it is long deep breath or shallow breath.

FUN FACT #6
Did you know?
Breathing sensors consists of a flexible thread
which fits behind the ears, and a set of two
prongs which are placed in the nostrils.
Breathing is measured by these prongs.

FUN FACT #7
Did you know?
The material used to manufacture these
devices are normally made with natural rubber
and may trigger allergic reaction to some users
