‘AP Human Geography Students and Parents,
We are looking forward to this next step in your educational journey. Attached you
will find a packet of material that is provided so that you will be ready for the
district created exam which will be given September 4™ or 5" in your AP Human.
Geography class. Whether a student takes World Geography or AP Human
Geography, all 9" grade students will be expected to know all of the cities,
countries, and physical features included in the attached list. Knowledge of this
information is critical to understanding the geographic themes studied throughout
the year in the AP Human Geography course. Also included are a series of regional
maps for your practice. AP Human Geography students are expected to know this
information by the first week of September.
The exam itself will consist of 50 questions over all the regions of the world. It will
count as @ Major Test grade. Some helpful free websites are listed below and the
use of a current atlas is highly recommended.
