University of the Pacific
To start with, the campus is beautiful. Its also a relatively small school, which would be
nice. They have good options for Clubs and Recreation such as Speech and Debate, and
Orchestra and Band. Speech and Debate would grow me as a person and push me out of my
comfort zone, while Band would be fun to be a part of. They offer Secondary Teacher
Preparation Degrees which is what I need. They also have flexibility if students want to change
their majors or declare double-majors, which means I wouldnt be set in anything in case I
needed to change something. There are connections to Benerd School od Education if I did
decide to go beyond Bachelors degree. All of that means that if I change my mind in the future,
they will accommodate. They also offer lots of financial aid. More than 80% of students receive
financial aid (average package is over $26,000. Admitted students are automatically considered
for most other scholarships. University of the Pacific was rated in the top 116 National
Universities by U.S. News & World Report. It was #12 In Ethnic Diversity, rated by the same
report. The Princeton Review rated it the Best in the West. It yields $101,000 mid-career salary
average after graduation, studied by Business Insider Inc. The total Tuition and fees would be
around $442,934. Room and Board alone would be around $12, 858. The University of Pacific
was founded in 1851 as Californias first Chartered University. It has more than 80 majors, 17
graduate programs, 10 accelerated program options, and 9 campuses. The average class size is
around 20 students. There are 3,810 Undergraduates at the Stockton campus. 48% of students are

male, 52% are female. There are around 437 full-time staff members on the Stockton Campus.
94% of those members hold a doctoral or terminal degree.
