I was out on a field


trip with grade four
section 1 to Sharjah
expo center.

Wednesday

I dictated my grade
four students in all
the sections. After
they finished the
dictation I asked
them to continue the
letter writing and to
decorate the letter.

I used pictures for students and I


showed them envelopes so they
can understand the letter writing
process. And this connected to
my PDP goals.

Reflections
Sunday: I was getting used to the repetition mode that the teachers
follow as they teach the same grade but different sections. I taught my
students new information they enjoyed the lesson a lot as they shared
information about their pen friends.
Monday: My students enjoyed the letter writing lesson. They have
learned a lot of new information. They enjoyed writing a letter to their
pen friend and I was very happy seeing my students writing and they are
all on task.
Tuesday: It was a very different experience. During a field trip the
teacher is like a mother for 29 boys.
Wednesday: I dictated my four sections of grade four. I literally
memorized every word in the dictation. It is very boring to repeat the
same exact thing four times.
