Project Reflection
Taking the chance to work on this project opened my eyes. Mainly because I am familiar with the
formulas and methods used in the project. The part that discouraged me was using Excel for set formulas
and functions. All semester long weve been used to doing things by pen and paper. Now using the Excel
software seemed alien to me.
Taking on the project is a possible door opening to what real world accountants do every day. Its
discouraging, knowing this mostly because so far in my undergrad path Ive only learned how to use
accounting for a grade. The thing thats discouraging is that I am not familiar with the real world
programs that are used every day.
The project is really helpful to the decision makers in knowing how to budget and control/plan
for the future. I think they are the essentials in maintaining a business. The whole part of the project was
moving because its preparing me for my future and career.
