ASPD is a mental disorder. People with ASPD have the lack of consideration for their
own safety, or others.
People with this disorder also gravitate to breaking laws, lying, and acting
impulsively.
SYMPTOMS
People with ASPD have behavior symptoms such as : Deceitfulness, aggression,
manipulativeness, hostility, impulsive, irritability, risk taking behaviors,
irresponsibility, and lack of restraint
They often are drug users/ drug abusers. Or physical substance dependent
The common deposition for people with ASPD are : Boredom, anger, and general
dissatisfaction.
TREATMENTS
Therapy is the number one recommended treatment for ASPD.
One of the recommended therapies is behavior therapy, a therapy that focuses on
either just behaviors or in combination with thoughts and feelings that might be
causing them.
Another recommended therapy is Family therapy, a therapy a type of psychological
counseling that helps family members improve communication and resolve conflicts.
The last recommended therapy is psychotherapy, which is the treatment of mental
disorder by psychological rather than medical means.
SPECIALIST
One of the specialist that treat ASPD is a Psychoanalyst. A doctor who uses
psychotherapy to treat mental disorders.
Another type of specialist that deals with ASPD is a Psychiatrist. A doctor who treats
mental disorders primarily with medications.
Clinical psychologist also manage people with ASPD. There job is to treat people
with mental disorders primarily with talk therapy.
