To whom it may concern:

I am writing in strong support of my student Mr. Michel-Angelo Flores. I have known and
worked with Michel-Angelo since El Capitan first opened in August of 2013. Mr. Flores has
been a member of my marching band these last three years and has become a valuable
member of my jazz band the last two years. In all that time, Michel-Angelo has proven himself
to be a highly intelligent, upwardly mobile student.

Mr. Flores has been a valuable asset to this music program and the school at large. Michel-
Angelo has been section leader of the euphonium section since the school opened. He has also
played an important role serving on the student band council all three of those years, including
serving as band council president in 2014-2015.

Mr. Flores has proven himself to be a hard worker and a young go-getter. He is highly self-
motivated, which is a rare and valuable quality to find in todays youth. Through careful
organization, extreme motivation, and tireless commitment, Michel-Angelo manages to excel in
my classes, dedicate himself to community service, and maintain first-rate grades (to which his
transcripts will attest).
In closing, Mr. Flores is a great student and a great person whom I have no doubt will excel at
any challenge he faces. For the reasons above and many more, I offer my recommendation of
Mr. Michel-Angelo Flores. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may further highlight Mr.
