Representative Cynthia Soto has been a tireless advocate for the people she represents
in Illinois' 4th District. Throughout her tenure as a state legislator she has sponsored
legislation reflecting her commitment to working families, access to affordable health
care, better schools, and safer neighborhoods.
Representative Soto's efforts in Springfield have helped to protect Illinois' network of
safety-net hospitals. Representative Soto's leadership helped to expand healthcare to
Illinois residents who are uninsured. Her work on behalf of our community has been an
inspiration and has enabled PSMEMC to continue to fulfill its mission of serving some of
Chicago's most vulnerable populations.
