Sometimes a word or phrase does not convey ‘a meaning that it was intended to; therefore, modifications can be essential input by peers. Both positive and negative criticism can be beneficial. By conversing with others, a bond is established which allows the individuals to share their own techniques, opinions, and flaws while cial when it happe improving their own work. \25, QUI Vey tuk Quad hey During the recent peer revision session, each groups discussed their Semester Long ‘Multi-modal Inquiry Project proposal. The Cannon Mills group, which I am acquainted with, paired with the Carowinds group to provide our input on the format, style, and content of each writing. Aaron Febre, Zaria Franklin, and | individually read over the Carowinds proposal and provided comments and notes about possible modifications, Our criticism was very similar; however, each of us was able to discuss the reasons to why a change may be needed. Together we explained to the Carowinds group the positive and negative feedback we had given them. Upon receiving our proposal back, Aaron, Zaria, I reviewed the notes in which were marked on the writing. We proceeded with the same method that was used on the Carowinds proposal. Explanations were given about structure of the paragraphs, the choice of words, and the format of the paper. Communicating verbally with one another has become innate because we have to discuss the details of our project beforehand. Together we agreed there were missingLo2 information that needed to be added and then we established who was responsible for each topic. Furthermore, a deadline was set in our group to insure the proposal was finished in a timely manner. ‘The group members and I have become well acquainted with one another and our topic. We stay in contact with one another both inside and outside of class.
