This letter of recommendation is regarding Reina Fujiwara. As a member of the
Nursing faculty at Kapiolani Community College (KCC), I have had the pleasure
of being Reinas clinical & theory instructor during Fall 2014. In addition, we
have kept in touch throughout the past semesters. She is a conscientious
student, engaged in the delivery of care to her assigned residents in a safe &
efficient manner. Reina worked well with her classmates and the nursing staff in
clinical. She was on time to class and clinical and adhered to the policy &
procedures of the Nursing program.
I have observed Reina maintain her endeavors in attaining her goals to become
a Registered Nurse (RN). Simultaneously, as a part-time certified nurse aide
(CNA), she previously worked at Kahala Nui, on a skilled nursing floor, while
attending KCCs Nursing program. I do commend Reina for her tireless efforts to
obtain her nursing career as a professional nurse. As a nursing student, her
work experiences have been beneficial for skills learned in lab/clinical and theory.
I continue to support Reina in her hard work and drive as a student nurse.
Through my observations as her former clinical instructor and in class, Reina
demonstrated to have a heart to be a safe, good, knowledgeable future RN.
Reina possesses a good attitude and openness for new learning opportunities. I
wish Reina the very best in her nursing career.
