Part 3:
Confidence Interval Estimates: A confidence interval is used to say that if you were
to do an experiment many times, the proportions you will get will match the
confidence interval the certain percentage of the time.

If this experiment was repeated multiple times, the true proportion of yellow
candies would fall between .19 and .22 99% of the time.
If this experiment was repeated multiple times, the mean number of candies
per bag would be between 59.19 and 61.31 candies 95% of the time.

If this experiment was repeated multiple times, the standard deviation of the
number of candies per bag would fall between 4.22 and 6.27 candies 98% of
the time.
Hypothesis Tests:
A hypothesis test is used to test a claim. A null hypothesis claims that
something is equal to something where an alternative hypothesis is testing a
claim that something is either greater than, less than, or not equal to
something.

Reflection:
In order to do interval estimates and hypothesis tests, certain requirements must be
met. The common requirement is that it is a simple random sample. Errors that
could have occurred are people miscounting their skittles or saying they had
different colors than they actually did, outliers, and miscalculations.
