A very good morning to Mr.

/Madam Speaker, fair and wise adjudicators, precise

timekeepers, respected government team, the misguided, lost, and perplexed
opposition team, and finally, members of the floor.
We, the Government Team, strongly and undeniably agree with the motion today,
that is this house believes that a student's excellence begins at home ".
First of all, let me define the motion. What or who is a student actually?
According to Paperback Oxford English Dictionary 6 th edition, a student is a
person studying at a university ,college or a school who takes a particular interest
in a subject. Secondly, excellence, a derivative of the word excellent, which
means outstanding or very good and lastly, home, not Tim Johnson's movie, but
a normal home that we live in. Home is a place where someone lives to be
comfortable and at ease. From here, we can say that the overall meaning of
todays motion is An Outstanding Individual, originates from his or her
residence.
Therefore, by just hearing the definition i think you all could already have a clear
picture that a student's excellence begins at home and we the government
believe that this statement is true.
My name Kavin Kumar s/o Saravanan, as the prime minister and the first
speaker of the government will present one argument to be debated by this
house. The handsome man next to me is Riknesh s/o Ravindran is the 1st
minister and the 2nd speaker of the government. He will rebut and present
another 2 arguments. Finally the government's very own Aishwarya Rai, Paayal
Kurmari d/o Rajindar Nath. She is the 2nd minister and the 3rd speaker of the
government and will rebut all the distorted arguments that we're bound to hear
from the opposition side of the house today.
Now, moving on to my first argument.

The motion, a student's excellence be or even better gins at home is so true

without any doubts and we as the government strongly agree with it. Parents play
the utmost role in carving and shaping their children's character and their future
undertaking. Every psychologist does in fact agree that parents are the number
one in every child's life. For example, a voting line on debate.org says 80% of
people agree that a student's excellence begins at home.
This is because parents can always keep an eye on their children at all times. It
is very important for parents to guide their children so that they will not influenced
by negative values. This will make sure the concentration on their studies are not
affected. The reason for this is in school, students are exposed to a lot of social
issues like smoking, vandalism, playing truants and so on. Therefore, their
studies will be affected. Under the eagle eyes of their parents' they will definitely
concentrate more on their studies and they will achieve much more in the future
like getting an Oscar award, breaking the world record or even better receiving a
Noble prize award. For an example, Dato' Lee Chong Wei, our national
badminton player's parents were very supportive until they made him as one of
the best badminton player in the world.
According to Dato Lee Chong Weis official biography entitled Dare to be A
Champion, published by Stargate Press in 2012, we can clearly see how
supportive Dato Lee Chong Weis parents are. Dato Lee Chong Wei dedicated a
special chapter from his book solely to thank his parents. Theyve provided him
with lessons since the beginning and were always with him through all of his ups
and downs.
This without doubts prove that a student's excellence does begins at home .we
as the government have proven that with indisputable facts that a student's
excellence does in fact begins at home .now ,before i pass the torch on,let me
reaffirm our stand by Ernest Istook quote which is "education begins at home and
i applaud the parents who recognize that they not someone else- must take
responsibility to assure that their children are well educated" thank you.
