Dubai Municipality calls on all establishments involved in
trading1 importing1 selling1 supplying1 manufacturing of
Detergents & Disinfectants products to comply with the
following requirements:

All products to be tested at accredited laboratory to ensure the

compliance to the recommended limits by DM for the below tests:

Obtain the necessary approvals and registration

notifications for these -products issued by consumer
Products Safety Section
To ensure at all times that products imported, displayed,
or sold have not been banned or recalled elsewhere in
any other country.

3. Label Requirements
Products should carry non-removable labels in accordance
with the following details which should be declared clearly in
Arabic or English:

Ingredientswith concentrations
Production & Expiry dates
Bar-Code & Batch number
Storage conditions
Instructions of use
pH of the product
Health warnings & safety precautions
Packaging should comply with standards of ISO-14021
Pictures inconsistent with the prevailing social customs
and values shall not be used

4. Trade License
Valid trade license with related activity issued from
Emirate of Dubai.
The Concerned establishments are warned that failure to
comply with the above directives shall result in punitive
actions as per local order number 11 - 2003 concerning
Public Health and Communitv Safetv in the Emimte of
