Autobiography

I am a 19-year old Senior currently attending Merced High School located in Merced,
California. I will be the first to graduate high school and attend a college to continue pursuing
my dream of becoming a pediatric nurse. I was born in Oxnard, California but moved to Ceres,
California where i spent much of my childhood years. A year or so ago I made the drastic move
of leaving home and starting new at a new town and new school surrounded by many new faces.
I am determined to become somebody in life and have my parents feel the sense of them leaving
their country was well worth it. Having been raised in a hispanic culture, and parents being
strong believers in success not only comes along with pride and joy but with strong work and
dedication on be half of ones self. My grandpa was a strong man who influnced my life since he
was a strong supporter of Cesar E. Chavez, and was a member of th United Farm Workers. With
this being said my family has always preach to me that perseverance is the key to success that a
person shouldnt give up on anything, instead they should keep pushing themselves for the better.
