Gruneiro 1 Alex Gruneiro Mrs. Raymond UWRT 1102 15 April 2016 wri0 My project is over the Carolina Panthers. Our group stayed pretty close to the seript with our ideas of how we were going to approach this project. I personally have decided to research ‘what the players do for the community more. One thing that surprised me was how much the organization trusted Cam Newton. Newton texted left tackle Michael Oher, and asked him if he ‘would join the Panthers. Oher’s career was beginning to die after a few poor seasons. Pretty soon after the texts, the Panthers signed Oher to the team and his team was revived. He was one of the top left tackles in the NFL this past year. I really enjoyed learning more about my favorite football team. In the SLO’s, I thought the easiest one to accomplish was Rhetorical Knowledge, ‘was easy to improve and grow it in my writing. My description of things got better 3'my audience could understand and see what I was writing about, rather than me avigg to say what I ‘was exactly talking about. For example, when we had to pick something during class to write about, I chose Stephen Curry and wrote a whole paragraph about him. Within my first couple of sentences, my classmates were able to tell me who I was writing about instantly. 1 used descriptive language such as, the baby faced assassin, or how he was one of the smaller players, or that he is the human cheat code. | also brought up his daughter for people who don’t really, » o W x oP 182 ab iho ge alt eA in gut asGruneiro 2 know basketball, and without even saying her name, or his, the whole classroom was able to ‘guess who I was writing about.
