Hailey Steffen has served as a team captain on her high school varsity team. Early on, when | first started coaching Hailey, | quickly noticed her determination while cheering. With Hailey, it was easy to see why her teammates thought of her as their leader and why our coaching staff thought so highly of Hailey. Hailey’s gifts did not end at cheering but she also excelled in the classroom. She maintained over a 4.00 during the entire time I coached her. Quite honestly, between long cheer practices and a full homework load from her A.P. classes, | am not sure how she did it and kept a great attitude. It really just goes to show you how impressive this young lady is, Ihave coached many young ladies in my life and hands down she is the most complete package of a person | have come in contact with.
