This is the first teaching practice in class the lesson is combination of vocabulary
and pronunciation

Main aims (language skill) :

To revise and extend students vocabulary related to the topic. Eg mother,


father, brother etc
To develop student pronunciation and ability in speaking and listening
consonant sound. Eg

To give student practice in speaking and listening

To give the students chance to explore family as household unit

Warm-up : The teacher greets the students and
helps them release stress and focus on English.
Also, as they have learn the name of family, the
teacher asks them about them.

Teacher hand out set cards (Mother, Father,


Brother, Sister, etc.) The student are to search
for the same family member by calling out their
card. For example, if I have a "father" card, I
would yell out "Father, Father, Father!" to try and
find my other partners. Once I find everyone, we
come to the teacher and at the same time yell
out the family member. The fastest group wins. I
do this because I do not want to alienate those
that are missing any family members or those
that are only children.

Students arrange their family tree base on card

The teacher asks the students to say out loud

aware of the way words are spelled.
