DESCRIPTION
• Computer programmers convert
instruction to codes.
Tasks

• The most common task would to conduct


trial runs of programs and software
applications to be sure they will produce
the desired information and that the
instruction are correct.
Other tasks

• I may also need to correct errors by


making appropriate changes and
rechecking the program to ensure that the
desired results are produced.
Physical Surroundings

• Computer programmers normally work in


clean, comfortable offices or in
laboratories in which computer equipment
is located.
Education
• Many programmers require a
bachelor’s degree, but a 2-year
degree or certificate may be
adequate for some positions.
Hours I would work:

• I would usually work 8 hours per day, 5


days a week 40 hours a week. Then
sometimes at night or overnight.

• I will begin as a Computer programmer, I
would possibly be promoted to lead
programmer.
