Scientists are projecting that by 2040 we as citizens of the United States will need to
increase food production by double the current amount. These shocking facts are leading to more
innovative ways to farm and produce food. Some ways include sustainable farming, which is a
high debated issue. Some say it creates too many chemicals in the food and pollutes the land, but
others conclude that it is the only and best way to go about producing food the faster way. This
new way of farming also promises to be the best solution economically and environmentally. As
a community we need to use the best ways possible to keep world hunger down and be abe to
produce more food for our societies, and sustainable farming is that best way.
