I completed my student teaching experience

in the Chester School District. Grades taught
included 6th and 8th grade computers, 8h
grade Math, Sophomore Physical Education,
Kidergarten-5th grade Physical Education.
I completed my Level 3 field experience in the
Madison High School. This experience was 40
hours. Classes taught included Fitness and
Conditioning, Individual and Dual Sports, and
Team Sports.
I observed Mrs. Rahns 6th and 7th grade
reading classroom in Madison, South Dakota.
This experience totaled 20 hours. There were
approximately 15 students in the classes. I
saw how this teacher managed her classroom
and strategies that she used keep students on
task.
For my Fundamentals of Elementary class I
observed two physical education lessons at
the Madison Elementary School and also
taught one lesson to 1st graders. I watched
the teacher teach a lesson to one group and
then I taught the same lesson to the group
after.
As a part of PE 181 my classmates and I
taught toddler gym in the Madison Community
Center. The class was 50 minutes two days a
week for 5 weeks. The students ages ranged
from 3-5 years old.
