Dear Mr. Parton,
I would like to express my interest in applying as an intern with Athens
Orthopedic Clinic for the Summer of 2016. I heard about this opportunity
from a fellow student who has previously served as an intern. I am currently
a junior at the University of Georgia majoring in human development and
family sciences in hopes of eventually becoming an occupational therapist.
I believe that I would be a valuable asset to the Athens Orthopedic team. I
have spent 23 hours shadowing at Pinnacle Orthopedic in Atlanta, as well as
80 overall occupational therapy shadowing hours. I have the knowledge and
experience to excel in an orthopedic therapy setting. I am a hardworking,
passionate, responsible and believe that I could represent the Athens
Orthopedic Clinic well.
