Reflection

I have learned to be creative and embrace other cultures from my course in

Humanities. I have always liked to be alone or associate with quiet people or people
of my same beliefs, but this course made me opened to the world. Discussion
groups after the end of each section of the coursework were of great help because it
made me more interactive. Our assignments were based on reflection and were at
times very challenging, particularly when I was asked to write on my obituary. That
was the most difficult part of the course. When I started writing, ideas kept flowing
and before I realized, I was done with the piece of writing. By creating a signature
assignment, I learned not to judge people based on their beliefs. Learning through
the different sections of the coursework, assignments and group presentations
removed my biases. I have mastered how to be creative and develop new ideas. I
am interested in designs and research which needs one to be creative and my
courses in English and Mathematics have added to achieving this goal.
