Topic Proposal
My topic of choice of which, I wish to pursue is the underfunding of some cancers such
as kidney cancer. I chose this topic because, I have a family member with cancer. I am interested
in it because I hear a lot of other cancer patients say that there cancer field has little funding. Due
to this I am curious to see why that is, and how patients are taking this mentally and how it
affects them in their treatments. I will find the answer to these questions through research online,
and seeing cancer patients responses to these discrepancies. I also wish to find who is the cause
for this and how can it be prevented.
