GEO is charged with advancing global experiential learning, which lies at the core of a Northeastern education. We work with the entire university community to encourage our students to share their experience here with others around the world as well as bring the benefit of their experiences abroad back to campus in a continuing process of transformation and renewal. Inall our global programs, Northeastern students are challenged to immerse themselves in another culture where they must learn how to navigate cultural mores such as establishing new personal and professional relationships, and in the case ofthe co-op program, how to become a productive citizen in a foreign country and adapt to workplace practices abroad. GEO is committed to ensuring that every one of our students has a transformative experience abroad.
