Dear Human Relations or Nurse Recruiter,
It is my privilege to give recommendation of Patricia Farias, with highest regard, as a potential
employee in your organization. I have had the pleasure of having Patricia in two of her four
semesters at Azusa Pacific University School of Eniry Level Masters (ELM). She is an A student
with a GPA of 3.86 and she is an accomplished professional with physical therapy and
respiratory therapy background, before beginning the ELM program,
Patricia is a skilled beginning level practitioner with a skill set far beyond her nursing process
and critical thinking skills, She has computer wizardry skills, has Portuguese, Spanish, Russian,
and English language fluency and the Portuguese and Spanish cultural competency skills.
Patricia is a team player, committed to growing the whole team and the patient and family in
person-centered care, She has multiple leadership qualities: the ability to take charge and
delegate, or be a team player and give insightful needed direction to the team without usurping
the leaders’ role. She has incorporated spiritual care in her nursing practice whether in the
hospital or community setting. Patricia is emotionally mature as evidenced by her ability to
remain calm in the face of patient non-compliance, manipulative patient behaviors, and when it
appears the computer document has been wiped out. Consequently, she is valued by all in the
university, She also has that delightful Latin dramatic side seen in expression of humor and
success,
Patricia's character is one with the humility of a learner and a servant, never proclaiming herself.
She is a self-starter, taking initiative for her own learning and performance goals, utilizes
erature and research for enriching her planning and implementation of projects, and
demonstrates emotional intelligence and relational skill beyond a new grad level. I received
multiple calls from her community health preceptor singing her praises for giving amazing in-
home care to previously resistant diabetic patients.
It is without reservation that I give Patricia the highest recommendation possible for her future
employment as a nurse leader. If further information is required, please do not hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
tit

have had the opportunity to instruct and interact with Patricia during her fourth semester critical care
jinical rotation as well as didactic settings. Patricia has been an eager learner who is quick to grasp
nursing concepts and apply them in a clinical environment. Her critical thinking ability is solid and
substantiated. Patricia has always provided a professional appearance and demeanor, even in difficult
situations. Patricia's clinical experiences were at Riverside Community Hospital which is a Level Il

{including CABGs), neuro surgeries (including craniotomy/ventriculostomy, lobectomy, tumor
rescission/excision, and spinal stabilization), GI surgeries from bowel resections to Whipple procedures.

be a very successful nurse in your new graduate residency program. Patricia has consistently
demonstrated that she is committed to excellence in nursing, Please contact me with any questions at your
