Work Instruction

Mark Recurring Entry for Deletion (FBD2) and Delete Recurring Entry
(F.56)
Purpose
Use this procedure to delete a recurring entry.

Trigger
Perform this procedure when you need to delete a recurring entry.

Prerequisites

Recurring entry must exist in the system.


The recurring document must be marked for deletion using transaction FBD2 prior to running
F.56.

Use the following menu path to begin this transaction:

Helpful Hints

R/O/C column in tables represents Required, Optional, or Conditional entry.


On certain screens you may have to scroll to view some data entry fields.
To prevent the incorrect recurring entry from being deleted, the system requires you to set
a deletion flag to delete a specific recurring entry using transaction FBD2. This work
instruction will show you this step as well as the F.56 transaction.
Click Test Run to see a list of documents to ensure the correct document is deleted.

Procedure
1.

Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.

Change Recurring Document: Initial Screen

As required, complete/review the following fields:

The unique identification assigned to a business event as it
is processed in SAP; the system automatically creates and
assigns document numbers as each document is posted.

Company code represents an independent accounting
entity. There is only one Company code for the City of
Portland: "COP1."

Click Save
