(MS) 110/2002 H. Edn dated 17.8.2002. The col- lege is affiliated to Kannur University. It is housed in an imposing building put up in 22 Acres of land in panoramic and enchanting environment at Kanhirangad, 4 km away from Taliparamba Town. Academic excellence is the hallmark of this college. The Taliparamba Educational Co-operative Society Ltd. No. C.855 was established in 1981 for the unique purpose of meeting the educational needs of the young generation yeaming for vari- ous avenues in the sphere of higher education. In addition to the celebrated Arts & Science College founded by the society the fol- lowing institutions are functioning in the cluster of buildings put up by the society in its Headquarters at Palayad, Taliparamba Town. 1. It may be noted that the instructions and guidelines received from Govt. of Kerala and Kannur University from time to time regarding regulations of admission will be strictly followed. This amount includes registration fees. In the case of SC/ST candidates the cost of application and prospectus is Rs. 50/- Those who require the application form and prospectus by post shall send the request to the Principal of the College with a demand draft of Rs.125/- drawn in favour of the Principal, Taliparamba Arts and Science College. Money order, postal order or cheque will not be accepted. In the case of SC/ST candidates the fee for application form by post is Rs.75/- (For M.Sc., M.Com. Rs.200 & 100 for SC/ST) As per the Govt. order eventhough the college authorities could collect a larger amount towards the tuition fees and special fees the TEC society has decided to collect a much smaller amount as mentioned below. Application from may be downloaded from the University website on payment of prescribed fees, In the case af admission to Management quota, candidates seeking admission shall contact the College office after online admission to merit quota is completed. Note: ) First instalment fees should be remitted together with the caution deposit and special fees at the time of admission. ii) The students will have to remit the Examination fees to the by University at the time of notification of University ~~ i) Fees once paid will not be refunded except Caution Deposit ieeeiv) Those who discontinue after the commencement of classes will have to pay the remaining fees of the course. v) SC/ST/OEC candidates are exempted, from payment of pre- scribed fees on condition that they will submit the application for educational concession to the SC Development Department in the prescribed form along with the supporting document within 15.days from the date of commencement of regular class. If they fail to do so they should pay the prscribed fees. i) Photocopies of the marklists of the qualifying examination and Community Certificate (if necessary) will have to be attached with the application form. ii) Original marklist of the qualifying examination, Community Certificate, (if necessary). SSLC book, Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate will have to be produced at the time of interview = ) A candidate who fails to appear for the interview will for feit his/ her chance for admission, oe iv) The candidates admitted will have to abide by the campus rules and regulations issued from time to time. v) Two copies of passport size photographs must be provided by the candidate at the time of admission. vi) Ragging is strictly prohibited in the dainpus.
