Legal
Equality Act 2010 The Equality Act ensures that all material used
in my fashion spread, including the photo and cover lines, do not
represent any forms of discrimination.
Obscene Publications Act 1959 This act protects the public from
any publications that could be considered obscene, which I must
ensure the photos I take can be considered so.
Ethical
For my photoshoot, some of the ethical issues involved include the
appropriateness of my images for my target audience. As the magazine is
focused towards teens, the images must avoid any suggestive themes
from the body language or clothing of my models which would be
considered unsuitable for that age group. While the fashion spread will be
belonging to one of my female orientated magazine issues, it should still
remain indiscriminate towards both genders.
