Legal

Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 The copyright act

ensures that all material used in my fashion spread has not been
used without the creators position, which because I am the creator
of all my images, will not be a problem.

Equality Act 2010 The Equality Act ensures that all material used
in my fashion spread, including the photo and cover lines, do not
represent any forms of discrimination.

Obscene Publications Act 1959 This act protects the public from
any publications that could be considered obscene, which I must
ensure the photos I take can be considered so.

Law of Trespass This law is in place to protect against those who

trespass on others property, which will not be an issue as all of my
photoshoots will be taken on a private property for which I will have
permission to use.

Intellectual Property Rights These protect those who created an

idea and have claimed exclusive rights to it from that idea being
used by others. As nothing I have planned for my photoshoots could
be considered intellectual property, this will not be an issue.

Ethical
For my photoshoot, some of the ethical issues involved include the
appropriateness of my images for my target audience. As the magazine is
focused towards teens, the images must avoid any suggestive themes
from the body language or clothing of my models which would be
considered unsuitable for that age group. While the fashion spread will be
belonging to one of my female orientated magazine issues, it should still
remain indiscriminate towards both genders.
