Determine the circumference and area of circles
Content Objective: The student will be able to identify the radius,
diameter, circumference, and area of 10 different circles with 100%
accuracy.
Language Objective: TSWBAT listen to teacher instructions and lesson,
speak using correct content vocabulary, and write in the graphic
organizer.

Assessment: Worksheet identifying radius, diameter, circumference,
and area
Texts to Read: TSWBAT correctly use graphic organizer and read/follow

Procedure:
1. Display central concept in middle circle
2. Brainstorm with students to think of relating topics and concepts
3. Add in important words
4. Guide students to make connections between topics
5. Finish filling out concept map
Modifications: Students will be allowed to work in heterogeneous
groups and be provided with many visuals that coordinated with the
vocabulary
