A riot against evil

This way! yelled Harry, as we followed him through a black

wooden door. Before we had a clear view of the room, the door slammed
shut behind us. The room, illuminated only by the glowing light from what
seemed like fish tanks, emitted an eerie feeling. And as we took a closer
look at the tanks, we realized that the things swimming in them arent fish
after all, but brains! Pop! Ouch! I yelled out loud, as an empty plastic
Pepsi bottle bounced off my head. I put down my book, and, with out even
truing to look, understood what had happened. It is HIM again.
When I was eight, my parents and I move from my home town to
Beijing. Although I had cried and screamed, thrown books and toys
everywhere, not willing to leave all my friends and family behind, I was
soon captured by the novelty of moving. I was amazed by the majestic
Tiananmen Square, the inspiring Science and Technology Museum, the fun
national zoo, and so on. Maybe Beijing is a better place, I thought. And
when school started, I was eager to fit into my new class. I could not mess
up. On the first day of class, amongst the endless hi(s) was a name that
was continuously brought up Sheng. Apparently, Sheng was proud of the
jokes that he makes putting spiders in the teachers chalk box,
drooping water balloons onto younger students, and accidentally
tripping people in the dinning hall. He would always get away with them
and never felt any sense of sham. As the new kid, I never thought to
challenge Shengs reign I only wanted to stay out of trouble and
assimilate with the crowd. However, it was proven a task not easy to
accomplish. I became Shengs new joke generator.
(MOVE SLOWLY WHEN READING, AND USE DIFFERENT VIOCES FOR
CHARACTERS, SAIDS. MOVE FROM MIDDLE TO END) Turing around, I saw
Sheng, my arch enemy in the whole class smiling at me. What did you do
that? I confronted him, feeling the burn on my head. Dont be mad, I
was just having some fun with you, said Sheng, You need to put that
stupid book down and hangout with living people more Liu, I rarely see
you on the basketball courts. See, now you cant even catch a bottle. And
he laughed. I felt the blood pumping through my veins, as hatred rose
from the bottom of my heart where I used to tuck it in to avoid trouble.
Well I dont know about my basketball skills, but your mom sure did a
crappy job teaching you good manners. My disgust towards Sheng ran
out like a raging flood over flowing an already run-down dam. And if you
know more than your poor grades had indicated, I added, you will
realize what a pain in the bottom you are to this class. The moment most
of my anger was channeled out, a bit of regret flooded in, (but Sheng
didnt leave me any time to think.) How dare you bite back at my
mother said Sheng, You wanna fight? My fellow classmates stared at us
with startled eyes, and a sparkle of tense excitement was in the air. There
was simply no way back. I lunged myself towards Sheng, pushing him into
the ground. The crowd started to unsettle. The startled Sheng grabbed my
hair, pulling them as hard as he can. An excruciating pain came from my
head, but I didnt let go of Sheng. I grabbed his cheeks and pulled on
them with all the force I can manage. Aaaaaa!!! yelled Sheng. And the

fight was at a stalemate non of us was willing to let go of the other. It

was at that point when our counselor came into the room. What are you
two doing! Break it up! I was dragged off of Sheng from the back and in
that process, lost a good amount of my hair while scratching Shengs face,
leaving ten deep red marks.
Me and Sheng spent the next hour in the principles office trying to
explain what had happened, with he insisting that it was I who not only
attack him over a joke, but also insulted his mother, and me trying to
explain Shengs reign of terror with his jokes and how I was push past
my limit. I was surprised to see Sheng breaking into tears during his
description of the incident, and for a moment almost felt sorry for what I
said about his mom, but then I remembered what I was told by others.
Crocodile tears, thats what this is. In the end, both of us got a week of
detention.
During the afternoons in which me and Sheng was forced to do extra
chores in the classroom together, Sheng intentionally avoided me, and
when ever our eyes met, I can see the fear in his. Finally, I though, I was
the victor of this struggle against Shengs terrorism. I fought
courageously against evil, like all freedom fighters do.
Mention the term freedom fighter early on in the essay to show the
reader the distance between my (When Sheng was insulting me, montage
