I took interest in continuing my education after graduation. I wanted to know more about the Criminal Justice program. I have the knowledge on the laws regarding the safety of children, the correctional system as well as the knowledge of principles and methods of investigating. Im expected to graduate with my Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice in December 2016. My studies have covered federal, state laws, juveniles, the correction system, and many more related topics. I have been on Deans list a few times and my grade point average always stays at 3.4 and above. I love learning about the criminal justice system and itll be a great idea for me to continue on learning room while I work in the field. I have been considering pursuing the degree to gain more knowledge as well as being able to advance a bit farther in my field. I am currently interning with UALRs Public Safety Department as an Accreditation Intern. I am responsible for creating and maintaining files for compliance with the accreditation process. I coordinate agency personnel, activities, records and systems with regards to maintaining accreditation standards, including the establishment of proper documentation demonstrating accreditation compliance. I maintain and update directives, and updates files to correspond with periodic changes to accreditation standards. All these things has helped me get the feel of what its like and it has broaden my horizon in terms of how things work. I would appreciate the opportunity to talk with you in person about the program and my interest in continuing my education. I am available for contact at 12:00pm January 30, I also can be reached via email at any time. For your convenience, I can also come by the office. Thank you for your time.
