He comes from a very humble and senile Feonbge religious family of seven; he is the youngest of six sisters. Even though his physical appearance is the one of a male, he considers himself gay. The family had been waiting to have a male and God had finally listed to their prayers, Pacho was born in a very traditional family. Mom stayed home while his father worked as a farmer, even though the family did not have much money his parents found a way to send his sisters to public school, During the first few years of his life he was very loved and spoiled by his parents and older sisters. However he was expected to take over the accomplishments of his father once he turned fourteen. Fourteen is the usual age for boys in this town to start contributing for the family needs. Pacho’s father was the typical machista, he had a son to carry on the family name, and his, pride was so big that he ends up damaging most of Pacho’s infancy. It was a very cold night, and Pacho was feeling very cold just a few second after he had undress. The nightmare had just begun; Pacho was forced to stand under the rain exclaiming the words “dolls are only for girls, dolls are only for girls”. Four Jong hours passed by, and he was finally allowed back into the house. He could not understand why playing with dolls was such a huge crime, why his father had done what he just did, that was the first incident of many to come. ‘As Pacho grew older, it was more notorious that he wasn’t like the rest of his male 4 relatives, and friends, therefore since then his father started to treat him very bad. He will not S$ y even allow him to seat at the table during family reunions, because according to him Pacho was the shame of the family. At school he did not have many friends, because he felt like he didn’t fit, with his male or his female mates, and even though he felt like he didn’t with either groups, school was the safest place he could be in. Followed by other incidents his father decided he will spend more time with Pacho, therefore Pacho become his father’s assistant at the age of ten, he ‘was told by his father that he will learn how to be a man. Compare to other kids in his neighborhood Pacho had to work when he should have been in school, at that time he lost, connection with most kids his age and he started to be surrounded by man of his father's age (43 years old). For the next five years Pacho obey his father, he try his hardest to act as manly as he could, but after another incident he finally confess to his family he was gay. He did not want to continue lying to his family, he was religious and felt bad for lying so much, plus he was sick and tired for all the mistreatment, but telling his family the truth only made things worse, he was disowned just a few days before his sixteenth birthday he had to leave his house with nothing but what he was wearing. Without a place to live and no income, he had to sleep under a bridge for several nights. In order to survive he had to ask for food, and in a few instances he found himself’ stealing from others. That was not the life he had dream off, but he did what could in order live another day. The days passed by, and after several days trying to find a job he was finally offered a position as a messenger for a local phone agency. Back in the 1990's not many people had a home phone, therefor this phone company will received call for this individuals and Pacho’s job ‘was to let the individuals know what time they will need to be waiting for the phone call. He did an amazing job, he make sure he deliver the messages as fast as he could in order to deliver more messages per day so that he could make more money. Besides making money Pacho was able to keep himself busy that was the only way he could bare the pain of not having a family or even friends, Every night he will pray to God, he wanted to know why life was 50 “TELS COS amindys dG thee aff wield hae (fF finn be Shep unfair. Why his father had disowned him, and if he will be able to see the rest of his family. y Sy. muy ast Seem fier several months of hard work and unbearable pain, Pacho decided to go back to school. He (.,. 1) continued to work as a messenger, and he took classes at night. His education has become a priority, he doesn’t have many friends, but the few he has he considers them family. Since Pacho is very respectful his friends and their families like him a lot. They all care for him and he is grateful to have some kind of support in someone. At the age of 27, Pacho finally concluded his communication studies. His friends and families were there with him, they all felt proud of him and all the accomplishments he was able to achieve( But Pacho was missing very important people, his family; he could never stop thinking of them, Even though he had lots of resentment towards his family, he still loves them and he still thinks on ways to help them accept him for who he is. One day not long after graduation, he decided to pay his family a visit. He wanted to show them he was honest and respectful regardless of his sexual preferences. As he was about to reach his, home his felt his heart was going to get out of his chest. He waited for a few minutes before he got out of his car, and as he did it he saw his mother at the front door. They were both paralyzed for a few minutes, he wanted to hug her and tell her how much he had missed her all this years, but he didn’t know how to do it. His mother walked to him and the first words that came out of her mouth were “please forgive me” and without a single word he approach his mother and took her in his arms. They remained quiet for a few minutes, the longest couple of minutes for Pacho. His mom broke the silence and offered him to come inside, but he was concerned. His mom let hhim know his father was very ill and could not harm him anymore, As he was approaching his home entrance he could not help it and tears roll down his eyes. Once inside the house he turned to the usual place where his father used to sit, and there he was connected to an oxygen tank having a hard time to keeping his head up. Pacho walked over to his father’s side and without any words they just hug each other, Pacho had forgiven his father and his father had accepted his son for who he was. He was invited to stay for dinner with the entire family; he was excited to see his sisters after a long time as well as happy to share with them his accomplishments. Dinner was amazing; he saw his family and was able to meet nieces and nephews he didn’t even know exist. They all offer an apology, for ‘what had happened in the past, everyone has accepted him for who he is and most important his heart cannot hold more resentment. He is ready to help his family accept him and respect his decisions and at the same time teaching them that being gay doesn't make him a bad person.
