Dear Belgrade High School Staff,

Thank you very much for allowing me to apply for this position and for your interest in
my application. I sincerely appreciate a chance at this job. My objective in securing a position is
to secure a teaching job in which I can develop my craft and facilitate my students creation of
their own successes both in my class and in life. I have a great passion for learning and a love of
English. I have always been an avid reader, and I welcome new recommendations, especially
from my students.
I began working for Belgrade High School as an after school tutor in the library. My
focus was English, but I assisted students with a variety of subjects. I continued this work for
almost an entire academic year. This led to my placement at Belgrade for my MSU practicum.
Currently, I am student teaching with Mr. Lewis here at Belgrade High. Through this and my
practicum, I have gained experience working with many different types and levels of students,
including English II, Junior English, and AP. Prior to tutoring at Belgrade, I had two summers of
experience working with Lindamood Bell as a professional tutor. I focused on literacy skills and
worked with students from ages five to twenty four, many of whom were on the ADHD/Autism
spectrum.
I thoroughly enjoy working with my students, and I would love to continue learning and
working in this environment as a teacher here at Belgrade. I would be grateful for the
opportunity to improve my skills and be an asset to your school. Thank you very much for your
