The normal statistical table is
specially modified to be used
in the six sigma program.
This table considers only one
tail of the normal distribution.
The value of the six sigma
table is shifted by 1.5 .
The standard table is the usual
one that is found in textbooks
to aid in probability and
statistics.
Here, both the tails of the
normal distribution curve is
taken into consideration.
No such shifts are done in the
standard normal table.
