Dear Neighbor:

We need leadership. We need experience. Now more than ever we need Council Members
who understand the needs of our Residents, our Taxpayers, and our Employees. We need
a Council that understands how Teaneck works and how to make it better.

Elie Katz has been on Council for 12 years and in that time, he has demonstrated a
tireless work ethic, making himself available to residents 24 hours a day, fighting for new
sources of revenue, and giving life to his passion for Teaneck.

For the last four your Deputy Mayor Lizette Parker has strived for a stronger Community.
Her efforts have contributed to the creation of the Youth Advisory Board and support for Adam
programming and services for seniors at the Rodda Center.

Yitz Stern is a former Deputy Mayor with 8 years on the Township Council, 8 years on the
Board of Adjustment, 4 years on the Planning Board and 4 years on the Environmental
Commission. He is also a Professor at FDU who brings significant life experience to the

My hard work, straight-forward honesty and the strength of character to do the right but
sometimes difficult things are commitments from me to you. I will always explain my
positions, and I will never hide behind abstentions from votes. I will continue to work
Teaneck
with my colleagues to lead Teaneck throughout the difficult times we are facing, and come
out stronger than before.

and more affordable place to live for your family and mine.
