Objectives
1. Students will learn what the definition of verbs is.
2. Students will learn different words that are verbs
3. Students will listen to The Wheels on the Bus and listen
for the verbs
4. Students will have to verbally say what verbs were said
during the song.

1. Tell the class what we will be learning today. Language
Arts, specifically about verbs
2. Define what verbs are: a word (such as jump, think,
happen, or exist ) that is usually one of the main parts of
a sentence and that expresses an action, an occurrence,
or a state of being
